Discipline Assessment Process, Templates, and Tools
Step 1: Consult Your Discipline Assessment Cycle Map
The Discipline Assessment Cycle Map is used to schedule the phases of assessment for all courses in your discipline. It should be consulted before generating an Assessment Details Project Template as it informs the phases for planning, data collection, analysis, evaluation, and reporting. Find the Discipline Assessment Cycle Maps on the document table located below.

Assessment Document Table
The table below contains working documents for the current assessment cycle (Map AY24-29) as well as archives of previous assessment cycles, starting from Academic Year 2019 (AY19). The “Assessment Project Detail” document includes all phases of planning, analysis, evaluation, and reporting for your discipline’s assessment projects.
How to find your documents:
- Use the dropdown menus to select your division, the type of resource you’re looking for, and, if applicable, the course (e.g., BPC110). If selecting the full course doesn’t work, try using just the prefix (e.g., ENG).
- The Description in the table will display all courses listed on the map. If your course is not listed but you see your discipline, please review the Map AY24-29 to check for any discrepancies. If you find a discrepancy, please inform the CTLA so we can update the table accordingly.
Note: The documents shown in this table are for reference only. All documents are stored in Google Drive and are accessible to those with shared access.
